I'm not well versed in RFC's so the answer is not clear to me. A recent problem of mine was a subscriber who has a field "Sender:" set incorrectly. He could not post as he was seen as unsubscribed even though his "From:" field was set correctly. Would someone please explain the relative order which the header fields are handled by LISTSERV or point me to a reference. -Dan ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Re: Reply-To field question Author: MIME:[log in to unmask] at INTERNET Date: 8/4/97 3:00 AM On Sun, 3 Aug 1997 23:54:48 -0400, Don Wiss <[log in to unmask]> wrote: >When a subscriber sends in a command to make a change in their settings, >and a Reply-To field is present, does Listserv use the Repy-To or the From? The From: field is used to determine if they are the valid user in question. Some commands require an OK response which will be sent by LISTSERV to that address. -- ________________________________________________________________________ Ben Parker ............
