>While I'm not arguing with your policy, you are eliminating a LOT of people >with free email accounts -- juno.com, rocketmail.com, yahoo.com, and hotmail.com and >probably others I can't think of offhand. For some people, this is their >only email access. That's a difficult decision for a listowner of a >support list ... In addition, it would not be that difficult a thing to do if you wanted to stick all people on such e-mail accounts on review, and simply edit out that offending portion of their e-mail if it bothers you that much. More work for the list-owner, but if the list is that important to you, and you really care about not having such attachments to your list (which I don't, and I have one hotmail subscriber I might add), and if it is too difficult to ignore, than sure, filter out all hotmail and juno and rocketmail and yahoo and any others you come across. I just think you'll end up losing more people than you are expecting to lose. >Sherry Beauchamp Glenn
