I'm not sure I can help Elliott regarding the bounce problem but it seems to me that the fault lies with interliant not iname. I have been using an .iname address since mid-97. I have only come across two cases where I've had mail returned because of the .iname domain being banned. I object to the blanket condemnation of people with .iname (or indeed other forwarding addresses). There are many reasons why people use such names and it is not to hide under them. Yes there are spammers who will try and use the domain just as they will falsely use .AOL or any other. sincerely Gerald England Gerald England's Home page - http://www.nhi.clara.net/gehome.htm New Hope International - http://www.nhi.clara.net/nhihome.htm Christine's page - http://members.tripod.com/~lacemaker/index.htm NHI Review - http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Oracle/1735 Cyberscribers - http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Cafe/7573 ---------- > From: Elliott Parker <[log in to unmask]> > To: > Subject: Bounces from Interliant? > Date: 03 March 1998 17:32 > > Can anybody see anything in the appended bounce that indicates > what the address might be on the list? > This has been a problem for the last few months.
