The word IMPORT above means that you're importing from an existing
subscriber list and they already know they're on the list, which I
believe is what this case is (transitioning from majordomo). There's no
good reason to use IMPORT and not QUIETly ADD.

Furthermore, even with the normal non-IMPORT addjob, it's not wise to add
non-QUIETly if you're adding a lot of subscribers, as it takes its toll
on the LISTSERV. Much easier to just welcome them in a list posting.
