It is possible to edit any item, regardless of the approval technique (forward(bounce) or ok, makes no diference). This does depend on the mail system one is using, may not be possible with some, and how much time one is willing to spend at it. > I would like to have about 20 to 30 subscribers be able to post directly to the > list, as they have been proven worthy of the rules. You have to put REVIEW in the Default-options= and reset everyone you don't want posting directly, who is already subscribed to REVIEW. Those allowed to post directly are set NOREVIEW. (When you do a query on a sub NOREVIEW will not appear, but REVIEW will; if it ain't there the person is norev.) > A question that concerns me is the editing of the "List Header" or configuration. > Is it possible to setup the list so that the editors or moderators cannot change > the Header settings. You can specify any address you wish for Editor= and Moderator=. If those addresses are not also listed as OWNER= they will not be able to change the list header. Only OWNER or the site administrator can change the list header. Can't advise on the editor/moderator dichotomy. All my lists are semimoderated, 2,000 - 4,000, and I am the sole editor (save for those subscribed and norev who edit themselves). Never seen the need for an army of moderators so have never studied that aspect. Douglas
