Subscribe is a command. LISTSERV acknowledges all commands, back to the person
issuing the command to report success/failure. This is a (hard coded and not
changable) command-acknowledgement message going to the person who has
successfully subscribed to the list.

The DELETE template message is only sent when the user is removed by the list
owner. When the user Unsubscribes themself this is not the same and they will
be sent the (separate) FAREWELL message (not in MAILTPL) if it exists.

When you are doing the command FOR the user (not the same as the user doing it
for themself) the correct command verb is DELETE.
