Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm sending the additions in without the
bulk job syntax, just:
add aapornet first last
quiet set aapornet (options if needed for transfer) for email@host

This does what I wanted -- sends out the add1 message.

I'm sending these commands to listserv at about 150 per message--seems to
handle this just fine. I only have 900 to do, so no big deal for a one-
time operation.
