I have received a reply to my request for further information from
Jerry Grasso ([log in to unmask]), Director, Corporate
Communications, Earthlink. I'm not sure I understand it:
> Users can set their precedence settings to bulk, list or junk.
> For legitimate bulk emailers the auto-responses will always come
> from a small set of servers and these servers will not carry any
> non-auto-response mail, so they can feel free to block them by IP.
>
> If there are large sets of bulk mail in which these rules do not
> catch, we will quickly change them. If a third party provider has
> a complaint after the product launches, they should contact
> [log in to unmask] and the problem will be resolved as soon as
> technically possible.
Comments, anyone?
