In certain "process" circumstances, not entirely true:

1) a generic email address for on-call/support issues

2) when you don't want to advertize your personal email address

3) when automated operations batch report/procedures (you remember those, don't you ;-)) are created, it is no "fun" to update (often a long/involved process) them with new email addresses if you can do so via sub/unsub to a list.
