Are you sure there wasn't an "upgrade" in your Pegasus system that you
were unaware of?  Are you sure you didn't change some setting in Pegasus?

You saying you are using DIGEST MIME.  Is that DIGEST MIME HTML or
DIGEST MIME NOHTML?  Have you tried changing your heder option?
Sometimes, with some mail systems, folk get better results with IETF,
or at least so some subscribers have told me.
