Not from Listserv. The quoted printable characters come from the mail server that sent the email. "=20" seems to equate to a "soft return" in Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise systems.

Is there any way to turn off (or on) the conversion of quoted printable to get rid of =20
signs and the like?

We've trained users to send text only, but these binary data characters seem to get through
if anyone's done any copy/pasting and they make a post hard to read.
