Karl--
When PMC (_Postmodern Culture_) sent out the full text of its first issue,
via Listserv, the 500Kb of text proved to exceed the mailbox limits for a
rather large number of subscribers. In addition, if you anticipate having
any, or many, CompuServe subscribers, you should count on a limit of 49Kb
for mail incoming to CompuServe from the internet--the actual limit is
50Kb, but you need to leave room for the header. At present, and for the
forseeable future, we publish only the table of contents when new issues
become available--a file which is usually around 15Kb, including abstracts
and instructions for retrieving files.
