Well,  the  SERVE information  is  stored  in  a GLOBALV  variable.  That
variable is examined when deciding whether  or not to serve a given user.
If JOE@DUHVM1 sends a  request, I am quite sure LISTSERV  is not going to
ask GLOBALV  for all variables starting  with JOE@ and examine  them all,
because there is no way you can ask that type of question to GLOBALV :-)
