EXPLODE is a LISTSERV command available to list owners and Listserv
postmasters.   The EXPLODE command can be used to ask LISTSERV to find
the best peer site for a list.   If a list is already peered, the list
owner or LISTSERV postmaster simply sends the output file back to LISTSERV
with the appropriate password.   LISTSERV will then process the file,
moving the subscribers which should be moved to the appropriate peer.
 
LISTSERV will also notify each subscriber that they have been moved to
the different host of the same list.    When completed, LISTSERV will
notify the list owner or LISTSERV postmaster of the completion.
