Here is a cute one for which there MUST be precedent and a solution,
but I am baffled by it. The problem is to delete a user whose address
is longer than the 80-col screen. Listserv does not take this as a
command, as it runs over more than one line. I need to delete this
guy but the command:
delete slovak-l
[log in to unmask]
pw=xxxxx
or
delete slovak-l [log in to unmask]
+ NET
pw=xxxxx
cannot be made to fit on one line. I tried using underscores to
link the password with the previous sentence, but all I have ever got
with any permutation is:
------------------------------------
Unknown command - "[log in to unmask]
UU.NET". Try HELP.
slovak-l
Missing argument - specify at least 2.
or
> [log in to unmask]
Unknown command - "[log in to unmask]
UU.NET". Try HELP.
------------------------------
What is the answer?? I also tried to juggle his name into a
conventional internet address but that is not how he is subscribed and
listserv balked at it. Is this a problem for other owners?
