Please note that the "bugs" mentioned in these files are most probably
due to manual action by the list owner. It seems the authors of the
articles expect to be able to set their subscription to NOMAIL for 3-4
years and not see it changed by the list owner (why anyone would want to
be NOMAIL for 3-4 years rather than signing off is beyond my
understanding, but that's another story). In practice, many list owners
set people NOMAIL when their mail is bouncing due to temporary errors,
and periodically revert NOMAIL subscribers to MAIL, hence the "bug".
