Yes, some of us have been, on-and-off, dithering about that for over
a year. As you say, it would easy to do. It seems it's best handled
on a list-by-list basis, as some lists want tight, buttonned down
security, whereas others want to be relatively open to better serve
the subscribers and those innocently seeking info from/about the
list. Yuh pays yuh money and takes yuh choice. We try to strike
a workable balance between tight security and totally open (of course
you know the listowners do the work in "workable," aided of course
by Eric and his programs).
