At the Library of Congress we are converting our lists from Listprocessor
software to Listserv. We're using a UNIX RISC-AIX system. One of the
lists maintains extensive file archives. I attempted to follow the
instructions for adding files to the archives and tried to update the
filelist with the filenames I was going to add. Below is the error
message I received. The manual is a bit confusing about how to set up
archives for non-VM systems. Can anyone tell me what is needed?

Subject: Command: PUT MARCTEST.FILELIST
It is not possible to update file "MARCTEST.FILELIST", because it is
maintained internally by LISTSERV.
