The easiest way to accomplish this quiet owner is update
your list's keywords in the following form:
 
* OWNER= verbose@owner
* OWNER= QUIET:
* OWNER= terse@owner
 
The UPPER case syntax are literals.
The lower case are to be replaced with real [log in to unmask]
 
For purposes of LISTSERV, only subscribers receive distributions
(assuming they aren't set to NOMAIL) regardless of owner status.
 
Make sure that NOTIFY= and ERRORS-TO= don't have explicit
userid@node pointing to the terse owner.
