Your mileage will vary. This is the subject of 10 years's
worth of LSTOWN-L archives. As you become familiar with
e-mail (technical/political) protocols based upon your own
personal heuristics, your behaviour will change. There
is no one-size-fits-all of list ownership/maintenance.
