Not to put too fine a point on things, screw 'em. You are, I'd say,
entitled to run the list as you see fit; that's what a list owner
does. If you have a few subscribers who are exercised by this, they
can take advantage of the democracy inherent in the Internet, start
their own lists and run 'em any way they please.
