Uhm, NO!
Under WINDOWS ONLY does ListServ require dedicated access to port 25.
Under all flavors (or at least almost all) they run Sendmail which
delivers to the lsv_amin program which puts the mail into the listserv
spool dir and signals listserv that there is new mail waiting for it to
process.
I'd like to know who told you that the only one that didn't have this
problem is NT. I certainly dont see it in any of the LSoft literature I
have available.
