It depends.

Can you provide a sample (with all headers) of one of the most frequent kind?

Not all MTA's are compliant with Internet RFCs, upon which LISTSERV(R) was
designed.

Also, check your AUTO-DELETE= and your ERRORS-TO= keywords.

Finally, some folks have multiple userids in order to separate out
list-maintenance traffic from the daily grind.
