I have one subscriber whose mail system sends me, as an error message,
an acknowledgment that a message has been opened every time she reads
a list message. She is using Novell-Groupwise. She doesn't know how
to suppress that ack and her technical support people are no help, just
saying that their network requires it. I know nothing about Novell-
Groupwise and can't help her.

Does anyone know what she would have to do to suppress those acks?
(As an interim measure, with her agreement, I have set her subscription
to Digest, but that is not a desirable long-term solution since she
prefers Mail)
