Jacob Haller is correct. While the CONFIRM will require confirmation of
all subscription requests it has no effect on unsubs. HOWEVER, those
subscribers who are using a web-based mailer will be asked to confirm
commands such as SET listname NOMAIL and, perhaps, UNSUB listname. I
haven't checked the unsubs but I am sure of the SET listname NOMAIL.
