These particular features are e-mail client dependant. However, LISTSERV
does have some workarounds for them if you want to use them. Among these
options is the
* Reply-to=
keyword, which can be set to any of the following:
list, respect This setting basically means that your list will
operate in such a way so that replies to list
messages will go back to the list, UNLESS the e-mail
client has it's own Reply-To header information, in
which case, that is the one followed.
list, ignore This setting basically means the same as list,
respect, accept that instead of using the reply-to
header by default if it exists, the messages will
always get sent back to the list.
sender This setting means that all replies to any given
message will be initially directed back to the sender
of the original message, with this modification made
to the Reply-To header of the e-mail message.
[log in to unmask] If you wish all replies to be directed to a
specific address, then use this option.
Be aware all of this assumes that your users are using competant e-mail
programs which will properly interpret the Reply-To header keyword. If it
is not a competant e-mail program, the most likely thing that will occur
is that the program will send the reply back to the sender of the original
message, and with regard to list e-mail, that would be back to the list
itself.

I believe some people have written such things up.
>Thanks for any help on this small but annoying problem,
It wouldn't have to be so annoying if every e-mail program followed the
standards of all of the RFCs. :-(
