Auto-delete= NO

By its very nature, the Daily Error Monitor Report is sent once a day.
Therefore if you need a more immediate feedback, you shouldn't use it.

|and think I would prefer to receive unedited error messages directly,
immediately from the mail servers.

Also, due to the natures of the LISTSERV(R) Distribute Backbone, routers,
circuits, Domain Name Servers,  mail exchangers, anti-spam filters, SMTP
client timeouts, etc., it is never (?) clear when you might get
automatically notified of delivery problems.  YOU will NEVER be directly
notified, but will always be mediated by your LISTSERV(R) list host
(ERRORS-TO=). Sometimes in seconds, sometimes in weeks.
