Dear editors of KIDLINK lists,

[log in to unmask] (Lara Stefansdottir) sent me this message and
asked what it was:

This person was subscribed to several of our lists. It looks
like his account was cancelled and mail to his address gets a
message like this in return. (I've changed the username to
protect the innocent.) All of our messages carry an OWNER
address to which error messages should be sent, but many systems
return error messages to the list address itself. Normally this
does not cause any problems because the LISTSERVer recognizes
bounce messages and sends them to the list owner instead of to
the list.

The message from FIRNVX was not recognized as an error message.
The only thing that prevented an infinite loop is that KIDFORUM
is a moderated list. The message went to Lara as moderator.

I'm sure that the moderators of our other lists will receive
similar messages. You can delete them all. I've deleted the
user from all of our lists so this problem will go away for us.

I'm also sending a copy of this to LSTOWN-L to alert other list
owners to the dangers of infinite loops from this system.

                          Peace, Dan
