Yes,  there  are many  ways  to  save time.  But  it  is still  far  more
inconvenient than not having to do it at all :-) Not to mention meetings,
vacations, and so on.  All the large lists I run  have "Send= Public" for
this  reason (except  lists which  inherently have  few posters  and many
listeners).
