I've a trvial but nonetheless puzzled question. Why do I regularly
get two acknowledgements of questions posted which disagree about how
many members there are on this list?


Your message dated Thu, 15 Feb 2001 06:24:20 +0100 with subject
"Listserv rage"  has  been  successfully  distributed to  the  LSTOWN-
L  list  (264 recipients).

AND

Your message dated Thu, 15 Feb 2001 06:24:20 +0100 with subject
"Listserv rage"  has  been  successfully  distributed to  the  LSTOWN-
L  list  (194 recipients).


Just wondering.....
