You can, but the security model is that users should do this for themselves so
the password is known only to themselves and LISTSERV and not to any third
party.  As an adminstrator you use your own password for whatever work you do
and generally you have no need to know someone else's password.  The only
typical exception is when you have some kind of scripted program sending
commands to LISTSERV that needs a password assigned to it.
