No, that produces an automatic HOLD, not a LOCK.  HOLD has to do with
posting distribution, a flat yes/no, distribute or not. If it is FREE (the
opposite of HOLD) postings will be distributed to the list despite the list
being LOCKed.  LOCK has to do with the list itself, to whom postings are to
be distributed.  Douglas
