I'm having the same issue with three users on our list.   I believe
this whole issue has to do with the acquisition of Compuserve by AOL because
you'll notice that the MTA the bounce comes from is in the aol.com domain.
I think these addresses that are bouncing could actually be tied to older
@compuserve.com accounts that are still subscribed to the list.   I located
a Compuserve Sysop account on-line and I've just sent an email to see if
there was any way to tell if a user with a @cs.com address is/was linked to
a compuserve.com address.  I'll let you know if I hear anything.
