Before we upgraded we had some cases where the directory name where the list archives were stored did not match the list name exactly. For example the Notebook entry might be "Notebook= Yes,e:\listserv\lists\ListNameSortOf" but the list name would be "ListName." This worked in previous versions of Listserv but 16 doesn't support this and you will see exactly this error. If this is the case, just rename the folder to be exactly the same as the list name and modify the "Notebook" keyword.

What was your old version? When we moved from 1.8d to 16 (2014b) many (mos=
t) of the old passwords were trashed and folks had to get new ones. Since = the colloquial expression for this is "change my password" they were drawn = to the "change password" link, which was not what they wanted. I took to a= dding a screen shot with the "get a new Listserv Password" link circled in = red.
Then they had to go through "confirm" ...
