I am a listserv (AIX, 1.8b) maintainer and just set up the following list today:

When the list owner issues an ADD he gets the following:

The list owner specifically asked me prior to setting up the list
to make sure he doesn't have to specify "ok" for every ADD that he
makes.  I told him *that* only applies when the ",Confirm" parm is
added to the Subscription option on the list header.  And there is
no ",Confirm" parm in sight.

But, when *I* add someone to his list, I *don't* get the "ok" confirmation.
It just goes ahead and subscribes the person, thus:

Why is *he* having to send ok's, while listserv is letting *me* add without
confirmation?
