If anyone is aware of a way in which a list owner can place a member on review without the members knowledge (member receiving notification that their message has been sent to the moderator when they attempt to post), I would very much appreciate the information.

Often times I use the command as solely a *precautionary* measure, as an attempt to avoid what I see as a *potential* disruption on list.

However, people do not like to have an affective action taken in regard to a "potential", being something they have not done.   List members who become aware that they are being moderated in these situations often feel defensive, and a whole time consuming song & dance worth of diplomatic
explanation is required when this could have been neatly accomplished behind the scenes.

The option is available at other list maintainer sites, and list owners find it an invaluable feature.
