I apologize in advance if this suggestion has already been posted
here.  I recently got some spam (the XXX notice).  I suspect, but
can't prove that the distribution list was tailored from listserv,
listproc and/or majordomo membership lists.  Listserv has as the
default, REVIEW=PUBLIC.  Although this can be changed to REVIEW=
PRIVATE or REVIEW=OWNER, how about sending out upgrades and new
copies of Listserv with the default being REVIEW=OWNER (or REVIEW
=PRIVATE)?  It would make it a little bit harder to harvest email
addresses.
