The list can't see originating IP addresses, it only has email messages
to work with. And then there is the question of which IP address are
you concerned with: the IP address of the computer a person was using to
write a message, or the IP address of the mailserver that eventually
processed their message on the last hop to your system?

In other words, is it true that you don't care WHO is posting to your
list, as long as you have some idea of WHERE they might happen to be -
at least, electronically speaking?

Hi

We'd like to be able to restrict posting to a list based on IP
address/domain name. The list is Send= Public but we want to restrict
the ability to post to local IP addresses only.

Can this be done using the "Service" keyword? My hunt through the
documentation seemed to indicate that the Service keyword was only to
be used for subscription requests.

If there is a way to do this other than the Service= keyword

Thanks

Scotty
