Bon Matin All,
In order to enable users of BLUES-L to have alittle more control on what
hits their mail boxes, I'm looking into implementing a TOPICS: list.
So far what I gathered that I have to add
* topics= NBC,GEAR,PLAY,ITIN,AD
* default-topics= ALL
in the header
My questions:
1) Will the OTHER topic appear as
OTHER:my subject
or
my subject.
In my case Other will contain the most interesting stuff: General
discussion about Blues ;-)
2) Do you I have to issue
SET BLUES-L TOPICS: ALL FOR *@*
or ALL if already the default ?
(if it's the default then is the
* default-topics= ALL
necessary in the header)
3) I know I change the 2nd topic and putting a blank will "delete" it.
Can I add more as we go along ?
4) If they whine too much and decide not to use it, do I just delete
the lines in the header or that's not reversible ?
5) Any suggestions, things to watch for ?
PS
NBC= No Blues Content (for "social" messages)
GEAR= Gear and equipement that musicians and sound tech use ...
PLAY= Radio Stations playlist.
ITIN= Muscians itinerary and show dates.
AD= Bluesware advertisements.
TIA
