Hi Nargaret,

It is a new server. The Listserv software owner is "external-listserv". I am
the site admin.

What I did:

Install Solaris 9 and patch;
Install Apache;
Install sendmail 8.13.1;
Install Listserv 1.8e;
Create a new mailing list;
Subscribe users--- then I got the problem.

Actually, I can add users from GUI by root. But users can't subscribe to the
listserv, even can't send commands "help" and "info".

Thanks,
Eric

Wait a minute.... You have a list named "listserv"? And to
write to the software itself, you write to "external-listserv"?
Are there other lists on this same server that work correctly,
or is this a new server that is just being set up? Are you the
site admin?
