This sounds like a faq item, but I haven't been able to find any
information about it.

Some months after a list has been created it is decided that turning on
Notebook capability (* Notebook= Yes...) is desirable.  All prior list
traffic is available.  The notebooks are to be kept monthly.  Is it
possible to create LOGyymm & DBINDEX & DBNAMES & SUBJECTS files for the
postings when Notebook was "NO" in such a manner that LISTSERV will accept
and work with them?
