You mean common sense to listowners?  Common sense to subscribers (and
those who run the systems they are using) can be totally else.

Say  what?  I've never used PROBE, ever, nor do I recall saying I have,
though I have asked for  clarification (passive vs. active, which keyword,
etc.).  I don't know nuthin 'bout probe and please don't suggest I do.

Anyways, I don't really see what the tendency of some subscribers to
overquote, despite the most concientous effort(s) of the listowner(s),
has to do with PROBE.
