One possibility is that Bill Banks is signed up with another address
which is forwarding to the [log in to unmask] address. When the
[log in to unmask] address went bad it started bouncing, but LISTSERV was
unable to remove it since it was not actually signed up for the
mailing list.

I'd issue the following commands:

        scan listname bill*banks
        scan listname will*banks
        scan listname bbanks

If xxx.xxx isn't one of the big ISPs or free email services and the
above doesn't give you anything worthwhile it also might be worth it
to do a

        scan listname xxx.xxx

and then manually search the result for "banks".

Finally, you could turn off Auto-Delete= for a day and look at the
actual bounce for more information on what the problem subscription
might be.

Thanks,
