Apparently, this is the local NETNEWS gateway into PACE's
VM/CMS operating system.  Some one at Pace probably asked
their NETNEWS Admin to gate it into the local environment.
 
If you don't want the various NETNEWS servers (and their
customers) to have a gateway, then you should update
your list keyword definition e.g.,
 
* FILTER= also,netnews@*
 
then issue the owner command
 
QUIET DEL * NETNEWS@*
 
It is possible that other non-NETNEWS-based gateways exist too.
Thus, you'll need to REView your list.  Needless to say, you
would want all future subscriptions to be forwarded to you for
your inspection
 
* NOTIFY= YES
 
Furthermore, you should update/create a WELCOME file enumerating
any use or copyright restrictions.
 
Nevertheless, seeing that this is e-mail, don't be surprised when
someone forwards a private comment to someone you'd rather not
see it.
