Thanks Pete,  I will try to see headers when the member gets more responsive.
However, the problem got lost in my quoting the OP.  My member receives
email, but cannot post.  I've asked to be sure they are using the correct
mailer as the subbed one is not the one they write to me with.  And I've
suggested he switch to the archives for posting, but again I see no action
from him.
