I have a problem with which I hope someone can help me out.  My list (DEAF-L)
has recently been migrated from the mainframe (CMS) here at SIUC to a
UNIX-AIX platform.  And now when I try to use the LSVPUT exec to modify
the list header information nothing happens.  I get no error messages
from either the execution of the exec or from LISTSERV, but when I later
check to see if the header information has been changed I find that it has
not.
 
I have also tried to send the new header information to LISTSERV
as a regular e-mail message, but that also produces neither error
messages nor header changes.  In other words, I am now in a position
where I can only send commands to LISTSERV on its new platform, but
I cannot alter the header information for my list.  Can anyone give me
advice as to how to solve this problem?
