I am a Listserv administrator who is a long time Mac user and I have
not had any problems in using my Mac to interface with any Listserv list.

Are you looking in the right place? Since you didn't say where you've
looked, I can only say that you should check the list either via the
list's Web site administration tools or issue the command:

   get listname (nolock pw=xxxx

In most cases, problems with being flooded with the same message
repeatedly is not the result of any flaw with Listserv. Usually,
such problems are the result of the user being on a network that
is served by an errant mailer.

In your last two questions, tracking down such problems requires that you
inspect the header of at least one of the errant messages to see how it is
being routed to the subscriber.
