Have you tried doing a review of the list and seeing if you have a subscriber
at vms.cis.pitt.edu or icarus.lis.pitt.edu?  If you had such subscriber(s)
you could send a message directly to them and see if one bounces and delete the
bounced address.

I'm getting a bounce message saying "User unknown", however when I go to
delete the subscriber, Listserv says there's no such subscriber.  I've
run a QUERY using wildcards to search, just in case I misspelled the
address but all searches turn up negative.  How can I drop this "mystery
subscriber" who is apparently not subscribed?
