well, i was being facetious. mostly. renewal has the advantage of
automating the clean-up and being nice about it...but with a 18,000
subscribers, i'd be more inclined to just start from scratch. either
way you go about it, you're going to get lots of questions and
complaints and the action that a subscriber has to take to remain
subscribed is the same: only the command differs.
