I hope I don't seem complete noobish when I ask this.

I am trying to get listserv to start on boot and have it on tty3 so I can go and see the status by just doing ctrl-alt-f3.

I put this  3:2345:respawn:/home/listserv/go tty3
in inittab.  When the system boots it does start listserv BUT when I goto the tty3 all I get is a flashing cursor and nothing else.


Could someone point me in the right direction.
